Ph.D., University of Manchester, 1999, Development Economics; M.A., University of Manchester, 1994, Development Studies; Specialization Area: Development Economics and Public Finance. His Research Interests: Sustainable development, renewable energies, green buildings, global public goods, industrial policy, technological capability building, FDI, financial crises, environmental taxes & regulations, social policy, human capital. His Professional Activities: Scientific and Advisory Committee Member of International Conference of Political Economy; Editorial Board Member of Turkish Studies Journal; Board Member of Journal of Life Economics; Editorial Advisory Board member for Handbook of Research on Global Business Opportunities; and referee to various journals including Social Science Quarterly, Turkish Studies, Business and Economics Research Journal, Anadolu University Journal of Social Sciences, Akdeniz University Journal of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Journal of Faculty of Political Science, Istanbul University Journal of Political Sciences, Journal of Labor and Society, Journal of Budget World.
